Here are some samples of our documentary style portraiture. "I typically don’t stage our portrait shoots; I enjoy capturing the natural and candid moments. When I get close enough I often experience a deep sense of familiarity with my subject, which allows us to produce truly authentic photos.” - Nosrat Tarighi

Micro Nature

This series is a close up look at nature in Washington, D.C. "These photos were taken on Nature Day 2017. Spring was drawing near and I decided to go out and take some pictures from some glorious landscapes around me. I biked from home for half an hour and stopped somewhere in the middle of Capital Crescent Trail. From a standard distance, everything was quiet and slow - but when I attached my micro lens, everything suddenly transformed. I ended up spending more than two hours in an approximately 50x50 ft. location, and  documenting life in its microcosmic form." —Nosrat Tarighi
